The stories about the German autobahn are true! There seem to be a lot of drivers going 100-150 miles per hour. I stayed below 120 kilometers per hour and a lot of drivers passed me like I was standing still and they were in a race.
But we made it safely to Kehrig before finding that we had left our phone/camera behind. So, we drove an hour back to the Page's house to get it. Then back to Kehrig.

Kehrig is a 900 year old village from which some of Ruth's ancestors came to America. So, we asked a few locals if they knew a Nell family. They all did, and directed us to a house marked Jos Nell, 1909. We spoke to the residents, who directed us to a cousin in an adjacent house. We went there and met her husband who speaks passable English (finally Jeff can understand what is being said) and told us that his wife is very interested in genealogy! She is out of town so we made an appointment to meet her tomorrow at 5pm. This is exciting!

We took lots of photos in the village. Then we went to Mayen, checked into our B&B (very nice) and toured the castle grounds. We plan to get back there when the museum is open.
