We've got to check some numbers to compare the Roman Colosseum with Qualcomm Stadium. They are both so huge! We explored two levels of the Colosseum for 2 hours learning all about its history and the emperor Constantine.

Interesting fact: there was anciently a giant bronze statue of Constantine holding a globe representing the world in his hand. They knew the world was round.

Then on to the Palatine Hill and the Forum. We spent about 3 hours just walking the streets of ancient Rome among the ruins of houses and temples to various gods. We didn't know that the Forum was a big outdoor plaza for public discussion. And now we've seen the Circus Maximus field where the chariot races were held.

Our final stop was the Musei Capitolini, with loads of ancient art and artifacts. We took a photo of a plaque that said it was common to keep legal records on bronze plates in ancient Rome. They kicked us out at 8pm. Our legs were so tired by then. We need to slow down, but can't bring ourselves to do it.
